Good breakfast. For the amount we paid, we expected a better room with a view. There was an unpleasant smell in the room but since we were to be out most of the day, we didn't bother changing.

I always love the desert so I always enjoy my trips to 29 Palms and Joshua Tree, especially at night time the desert looks amazing and the stars looks super bright and closed to earth. Great experience!

The rooms are run down, smelly and dirty at this Best Western Plus. We initially planned on staying 2 or 3 nights there but left after 1 night. Actually the same night we booked in I went down to the Fairfield hotel in 29 Palms and booked a room there for 3 nights as there hotel was clean and in great condition. Fairfield hotel had a warm pool too. It was disappointing to be at this Best Western Plus then have to move die to poor conditions.

The town was perfect for what we needed.
The town was perfect for what we needed. Hot meal and Starbucks! We stayed in a Yurt the night before...one word...amazing. Star gazing and just the experience was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend the Yurt camp at Twentynine Palms.

The house was virtually in the park.
The house was virtually in the park. I did not go into town for anything except a quick grocery run. I was there to enjoy hiking in the park and so this location was not to be beat! The views of town at night were like a Christmas display.

Nice little offshoot city in the desert, which has everything, Starbucks and such, but was still under COVID rules that were annoying.
Lots of art and a visit to the Visitor Center in the main street is a must.
Prices are normal and the Sattler Bros grocery store was a pleasant surprise.

We stayed here for 3 nights in the first half of February. We liked the location itself with its U2 vibe, the kindness and discretion of the host who explained us the basic care and respect that the apartment needs without pressing us (you get everything you need for your stay but remember: this is a classic location and you are in the desert!). And again: the proximity to Joshua Tree NP's north entrance and Indian Cove; the proximity to the city centre and to a Stater Bros.
The host gave us a warm welcome upon our arrival along with a tour & history of Twentynine Palms. We felt extremely safe and comfortable being outside and would definitely return! The host included everything we would need for our stay (games, utensils, flashlights, drip Vietnamese coffee packs, black tea sticks, honey sticks, etc.) We thought that he was a very knowledgeable, considerate, and warm guy! 10/10 experience to celebrate our anniversary.
It’s not a 5* hotel. It’s glamping. So every thing is basic. But the beds are the comfiest and cosiest we’ve had on our road trip. Erin is a delightful and helpful host and you can tell the thought, love and passion she has poured into building this special place. The yurts are delightful (and well equipped for camping). A lovely time was had bbq-ing and sitting around the camp fire watching the stars.
Wish I could have stayed longer!
Dirtiest, most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. Urine on toilet upon check in, various body hairs found inside the "washed" fitted and flat sheets, TV didn't work, weird blood? in the drawer, broken shower, moldy coffee pouch left in the coffee maker. A real dump 1/10 would never recommend to anyone but a meth addict.
We absolutely loved our two nights here. The starry nights, sunset drinks, bubbly jacuzzi times & spinning a few old vinyl classics on the record player over dinner made it an unforgettable stay. We would highly recommend basing yourself here for a trip to Joshua Tree National park or just to enjoy some jolly R&R time.
The room was absolutely nothing like the pictures. Curtain were half off the curtain rod, bathtub was moldy. Paint was pealing on the wall. Needed painting. Was like staying in a truck stop hotel. The breakfast was good and that was about all that was good. We’ll never go back. Was way over priced!
Our host, Erin, was wonderful. The yurt was so comfortable and well maintained. Even the outdoor restrooms were impeccable and cleaner than some hotels I’ve been to. Grill and fire pit are awesome. Incredible experience all around!
The location of the house with a close proximity to the Joshua Tree Nationalpark is great. The house was very spacious and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. Cynthia (the host) was very friendly and supportive.
LOVED having a kitchen, spacious room, comfortable, the uniqueness of the place. Owner very welcoming as well as every staff member.
Very convenient to Joshua Tree NP. This hotel has character and soul.
The hosts were absolutely lovely. The room was nice, clean, and quiet. Great spot to rest my bones after a long day of driving and hiking in Joshua Tree. Would absolutely recommend.
